- JBJamie B3 days ago1.0You have to pay upfront for both the driving lessons and the online classroom portion. However, you can’t book the in-car driving lessons until you’ve completed the online course. Once you finish the online course and go to book your driving lessons, you find out there’s a three-month wait. It’s so frustrating! Then they tell you that you’re not eligible for a refund because you’ve already started the online course. The problem is, you have no way of knowing about the three-month wait before starting the course, because you have to complete it before you can even book your driving lessons. You’re essentially locked into paying for a service without being told how long you’ll have to wait to use it.
- MMMelissa MalcolmSep 24, 20261.0It takes MONTHS to book a time with an instructor. They don't tell you that when you sign up for the course. You can do the course quickly online, however booking time with a driving instructor is about a 2-3 month wait. The set-up is not user-friendly. I regret signing my daughter up for the driver course through AMA.
- ABAudrey BonettOct 29, 20245.0Thanks to my instructor Neale, he was professional, friendly and punctual. It was easy to understand his instructions and lessons in the driving lessons. I really noticed his interest in helping me improve my driving confidence. I would highly recommend this instructor and the AMA services to someone else. Thanks.
- IRian twila robertsNov 13, 20231.0We signed up in August. Got my daughters first in car training in October. First session was fine. On her second session the Instructor texted her 2 hrs prior to her start time to change the time to later in the day. For her next session, the instructor no showed with no contact. AMA said they would get her another instructor. We’re now told we have to wait until December to get another session. Not worth the $1000 we spent for lessons.
