  We had a SUV Elite (Mercedes or BMW) selected but at the branch my kids saw a green Jeep and wanted to upgrade the fun. They asked to the one of the staff and he said yes to them. What an excitement!!! Start to finish the team were fantastic and fast. All was set to pick the car and upon my return all was super fast too and friendly. Great trip, great staff and great service.

  Ich hatte über Tui cars Oktober 25 einen Pick up Truck zu einem günstigen Preis für 1 Woche bei Alamo Calgary Airport gemietet und wurde als langjähriger Alamo Kunde auch diesmal nicht enttäuscht. Der Schalter war leer, der Angestellte sehr freundlich und die Abwicklung sehr zügig und unkompliziert. Kaution 1CND über Debit möglich. Sehr lobenswert. Mir wurde ein Chevy Silverado zugewiesen mit 17000 Km Laufleistung. Der Truck war jedoch innen und außen SEHR verschmutzt und es waren diverse Beschädigungen an Karosse und Abnutzung und Dreck im Innenraum festzustellen.. In dunkler Tiefgarage leider sehr schwer alles genau zu erkennen. Als ich den Mitarbeiter darauf hinwies, meinte er das ginge schon so in Ordnung und ich könnte das Auto genau so wieder abgeben beim return. Da ich jedoch der mündlichen Aussage des Mitarbeiters so nicht vertrauen wollte, bestand ich auf ein detailliertes Übernahmeprotokoll. Dies wurde dann bei der Ausfahrt an der Schranke erstellt und die gröbsten Dellen und Kratzer, sowie die Verschmutzung aufgeführt. Mir wurde auch ein anderes Fahrzeug angeboten, was ich sehr entgegenkommend fand. Da ich jedoch mit dem Protokoll einverstanden war, behielt ich den Silverado, der mir während meiner Tour treue Dienste leistete. ( Tolles Auto) Die Fahrzeug Rückgabe (return) lief schnell und unkompliziert ab und anhand des Zustand Protokolls das ich vorlegen konnte, wurde das Fahrzeug anstandslos zurückgenommen. Noch erwähnenswert wäre, dass ich in Banff von der Polizei angehalten wurde, mit dem Hinweis, dass an dem Truck die hinteren Spritzlappen an den Rädern fehlten und diese in Alberta verpflichtend sind bei Trucks. Das sollte Alamo eigentlich wissen und ihre Fahrzeuge dementsprechend umrüsten. Fazit: Ich bin immer wieder gerne Kunde bei Alamo und werde auch in Zukunft meine Autos dort mieten. ( meist sehr Kundenorientiert) Jedoch sollte man schon sehr genau den Zustand des Fahrzeugs bei Übernahme überprüfen und im Falle, sich alles dokumentieren lassen, um zu verhindern dass man für nicht verursachte Schäden nachher zahlen muss.

  I booked a 20 day rental from Alamo (Calgary Airport) through Costco and the rate, service and car were all excellent. Both pick-up and drop off were very fast and efficient and the car was nearly new and a pleasure to drive. Thanks to all the great Alamo team members at the Calgary airport for a great rental experience.

  I had a very good experience with the car rented. They gave me a RAM 1500 Crew Cab. I had a few days of fun with it in Banff and Calgary. They also welcomed me when I returned the car to the Airport rental car centre.

  Customer service at the airport is good, however our car that we booked was not available- we wanted a ford pick up. We were offered a Jeep which we were happy with but still not what we ordered. What is really disappointing is the insurance claim process. We purchased insurance in order to be covered. Unfortunately we had a crack on the front window so $800 deposit were charged against our credit card which we were meant to get it back from our insurance. Not a problem I thought. However it has been nearly 3 months and we are still waiting for the last piece of documentation (invoice for fixing costs)from Alamo. Customer service tend to reply after like 2 weeks each time and eventually after a lot of chasing I was advised that invoice will take 60 days!!!! Really disappointed in the after care of customers, really wish I could give you a higher rating! But sort your after customer care
