  Booked a RAV4 through Booking.com for an 8AM pickup and showed up with a confirmed reservation — only to be told they had overbooked and couldn't give me the car. No proactive heads-up, no solution ready, just "come back later in the day." I had a meeting to get to. That's the entire reason I booked for 8AM. When I complained through Booking.com, their customer service contacted Sixt directly — and was told Sixt simply didn't "want" to confirm that they have denied giving a car. Not a system error, not a capacity issue. They just didn't want to. That says everything about how they value customers. I've been renting cars across BC for 4 years with multiple companies and have never experienced anything like this. A confirmation means something. If you're overselling inventory you can't fulfill, don't send confirmations you can't honor. Would never recommend Sixt — especially if you have anything important to attend. Unreliable service, wasted time, wasted money.

  This is as seamless car rental can get. Shoutout to Jin/Jean for always making check-in and checkouts smooth with all options well laid out. I've always been on the guard when going to rent a car but this place is relaxed, non-pushy and a breeze everytime.

  BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN BOOKING. It says you can reach them if you need to cancel, but when you do, they tell you they cannot do anything about it, and you end up spending money on a service you’re not even using. I will never book from this place again, it looks like a scam and like they’re just trying to keep your money or make you pay for a service you didn’t or won’t even use. I was reading previous reviews, and it seems there is a pattern of not being able to support customers who booked through a third party, so why partner with them in the first place?! I booked through Priceline, and the booking said that if I needed to cancel, I should call SIXT. However, when I called SIXT customer service, they told me I should contact Priceline. Then Priceline told me they couldn’t do anything since the reservation was made by SIXT, which I believe, because usually Priceline does not take payment at the time of booking. Normally, I only pay when I pick up the car at the rental location. This time, my credit card was charged by SIXT. I needed to cancel my reservation for next week (7 days in advance), and they just kept telling me they couldn’t do anything on their end. I went back and forth with SIXT and Priceline about six times over two days, and it was really stressful. So I went to the SIXT Vancouver office, and my goodness, the customer service was so bad! The Asian (I think) guy in a suit, God forbid he’s the manager, because HOW and WHY?!. He didn’t even let me finish explaining my situation. Didn’t show any compassion or even try to find a solution. He immediately told me the same thing: that I should call Priceline and that they couldn’t do anything on their end, clearly, this is not the first time this has happened. I didn’t feel any support at all, and no alternative solutions were provided. So disappointing. I would never recommend this place to rent a car unless you’re prepared to be scammed and charged for a service you’re not even getting. I filed a dispute through my bank, and hopefully this gets resolved.

  DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!!! BEWARE!!! This company will rent you a car that is previously damaged and not do walk arounds with you. They will do the walk around after you’ve left and charge you for damages you did not incur. They will fight you on it. No amount of lawyers or footage will save you. Do not rent from here. This place is a scam. BEWARE!!!

  I had a very disappointing experience with Sixt. The staff member, ( Xiaojing )displayed very rude and aggressive behavior throughout the interaction. Rather than assisting professionally, he created unnecessary stress and confusion. At one point, he mentioned his personal Porsche,showing his car key and how he pays $3000 for it, suggesting that paying high rental prices should not be an issue. This was completely inappropriate and unprofessional. Overall, the service was full of hassle and lacked basic respect for customers. I would not recommend this location.
