I had a flat tire on the highway and was in the middle of a panic attack when Dylan and Arash pulled over and offered to help me change to my spare.
They were calm, confident, and reassuring the entire time. Not only did they change the tire, but they also checked the flat tire and explain whether it might be repairable or if it needed replacement. They didn’t have to do that, but they did.
They went far beyond what anyone could reasonably expect.
Employees like this are incredibly rare. Their kindness, initiative, and professionalism represent the absolute best of what customer service and human decency should look like. Please recognize them for the outstanding people they are: if anyone deserves a raise and recognition, it’s them! I cannot possibly express how grateful I am for what they did for me that day.

I discovered a piece of metal in my tire, and the pressure had dropped to just 12 PSI. I was genuinely scared to keep driving, so I called Fountain Tire since it was nearby. Vince answered the call and explained that they were very busy that morning. When I told him I didn’t feel safe driving and wasn’t sure what to do, he immediately told me to come in.
They took me in right away and fixed the issue as quickly as possible. I really needed my car that day, so I was incredibly grateful. Vince was extremely helpful, and the level of service I received truly exceeded my expectations. Thank you again, I will definitely be recommending you to my friends.

January 5, 2026 They took the "popped" (broken) tire out of the trunk. Phoned me, said it was unfixable. Put the new tire on my rim. I came back the next day to pick it up. They put the NEW tire in the trunk. No problem understanding: buy full size tire for trunk. New tire goes in trunk to be ready to use, when the next tire pops or breaks.
February 3, 2026 picked up. They said the tire with nail in it, (broken = in the trunk) was unfixable due to age. They tried to have my friend using MY credit card, buy a full set of tires. (MY car, he's on the insurance.) He said no. They ordered a tire in. seeing what was purchased a month ago. When the tire was picked up. the person told my friend: taking the WORKING tire off, putting it in the trunk, putting the NEW tire on the car was FREE. I don't know why they put the tire onto the rear right side, instead of in the trunk. There was NO reason remove the good, working tire and put it in the trunk! (It's a old 2010 Toyota, not a new car.) The bill has the tire price with additional $33.50 price. It ended up being $164 total, with invoice. I'm sure the previous Tire only (same as this visit) was $146 total.

I don’t write reviews often, but this experience genuinely deserves one. In over 35 years of dealing with many of the top luxury vehicle dealerships in Vancouver, I never expected that a visit to Fountain Tire would set a new benchmark for service.
Ironically, it was my 17-year-old son who recommended Fountain Tire on SW Marine Drive, simply because one of his friends goes there. I was admittedly apprehensive at first. However, the level of service and care provided by Vince not only exceeded my expectations—it surpassed most of the luxury car dealerships I’ve frequented over the years.
There is always a lingering concern when visiting an auto centre that you’ll be upsold or pressured. That concern never surfaced once. In fact, it was the complete opposite. I had 100% trust and confidence in Vince from start to finish, which is something I do not say lightly.
The technician, Brody, was equally impressive—professional, attentive, and respectful throughout the process.
Overall, my very first experience at Fountain Tire was beyond stellar. Exceptional service, integrity, and professionalism across the board. Highly recommended.

Tires wear out over time, and how long they last depends on things like road conditions, driving habits, inflation, and temperature. The best way to know when to replace them is to check them regularly.
Common ways to measure tread include the following.
- Tread wear bars: When these are flush with the tread, it’s time to replace.
- Coin test: If too much of the coin shows, your tread is low.
- Tread depth gauge: The most accurate way to measure.
If your tread is low or you see cracks, bulges, or notice vibration, come see us.
What are some signs my vehicle is out of alignment?
It doesn’t take much to throw your alignment off—potholes, curbs, or just everyday driving. Poor alignment can lead to faster tire wear and poor handling.
Common signs include:
- Vehicle pulls to one side
- Crooked steering wheel
- Uneven tire wear
- Loose or unstable steering
- Vibration in the steering wheel
If something feels off, we’re happy to take a look.
What’s included in the seasonal car care package?
Our seasonal car care package gets your vehicle ready for the weather ahead. It includes:
- Fresh engine oil and filter
- Chassis lubrication (as needed)
- Charging and starting system check
- Brake inspection
- Fluid top-ups
- Belt and hose inspection
- Battery test
- Tire and pressure check
- Heating/cooling system check
- Lights, wipers, and overall safety check
It’s a great way to make sure your vehicle is ready for the season.
What do the numbers on my tires mean?
The numbers on your tire’s sidewall tell you the size, load rating, and speed rating.
Example: 225/55R17 97H
- 225 – Tire width (mm)
- 55 – Height as a % of width
- R – Radial construction
- 17 – Wheel diameter (inches)
- 97 – Load rating (how much weight it can carry)
- H – Speed rating (maximum safe speed)
These numbers help us match you with the right tire.
When should I put my winter tires on?
A good rule of thumb: when you can see your breath — about 7°C and below. At that temperature, all-season tires start to harden, while winter tires stay flexible and grippy. Booking early helps you beat the rush.
