Great shop the place to go in south Van
Extremely really low quality control, and dishonest new manager, Matthew , he returned an ICBC claim #CZ10090-1
came back with some extra scratches on my Brand New truck with less than 4000 km on it my whole vehicle was overspray I brought it back to them. He said he was gonna fix it. They only cleaned the windows, but my whole truck still overspray. On the paint job, there’s multiple imperfections what Matthew the new manicure is saying ICBC doesn’t pay for that stuff, that is his excuse he also told me that I’m being really picky. I’m gonna post a few photos so you guys see what I’m talking about he also mentioned that ICBC pay for this it’s not my money makes me feel like if it was out of pay out of my own pocket he would’ve done a better job? I don’t wanna bring it back to the same location to get it fixed properly I wanna find someone else to deal with this claim. I’ve been in touch with ICBC. This is an over a $10,000 claim , just so you know shop owner. The location has not reached out yet like you said.
Left a mess inside the car
Update 【Dec 29, 2025】: Thank you for your reply. However, this is a vehicle safety issue, and Matthew J.’s proposal of “one free car wash in exchange for removing my Google review” is, frankly, quite ironic.
Extremely Unsafe Repair & Dishonest Communication
This shop returned my vehicle (ICBC claim #: Y3XXXX-4) with a large, clearly visible hole still in the right rear tire—after they claimed to have completed multiple “inspections” and “quality checks.” I only noticed it myself at the very last moment. If I had driven onto the highway, the consequences could have been extremely dangerous.
I have photo evidence showing:
• they documented this tire damage during the initial intake inspection; and
• the same tire was still damaged when they attempted to return the vehicle to me as “safe” and “completed.”
What makes this worse is the dishonest and inconsistent communication. A staff member who had previously measured and recorded the damaged tire later told me—while the hole was right in front of them:
“Your right rear tire was already replaced with a new one in the United States.”
That was simply false.
When I then asked another staff member (the one who called me to say the car was fully repaired and ready for pickup), I was given two contradictory explanations:
“We only repair cars; we don’t replace tires.”
Then minutes later: “ICBC doesn’t allow us to replace tires.”
Within minutes, multiple staff provided three different explanations, showing serious mismanagement and a complete lack of accountability.
After that, staff became evasive and unhelpful, making the communication stressful. They also ignored all of my follow-up emails.
This experience was unsafe, unprofessional, and deeply disappointing. Customers deserve honesty and basic safety—neither was provided here.
