All weathers from here have to be filled up weekly. Came back and they told me it wasn't their problem lol

What a clown show. After balancing the 1st time the stick on weights fell off in an hour. This is before the wheels even got on the truck. After going back to have the tires balanced a 2nd time they used the wrong hammer on weight that pulled off by hand. In addition: - they scratched the wheels when removing the stick on weights - - they didn't bother removing the glue when they went from dynamic (1st visit) balancing to static (2nd visit) balancing. They offered to redo the weight that pulled off by hand but twice at the same circus was enough.

I buy my tires at the Port Kells location and prices and service have always been excellent. Maybe tires are a loss leader because the price for a brake job was excessive. When they called me with the estimate, I couldn’t wrap my head around the $2400 price tag for pads and rotors - front and rear. Lesson learned, always get an estimate before taking your vehicle in. I understand why they charged me $95 for diagnosing the brakes and general inspection but it still stings. I guess I figured since I was a repeat customer that maybe we could have split the cost. I ended up getting my brakes done at another big name shop in Langley, out the door $1300. It’s rather obvious that Fountain Tire knows what the competition charges but decided to float the $2400 out there to see if I would bite. Normally this would indicate they are already way too busy and don’t need/want the work. I’m happy to oblige and can’t see why I would ever return to Fountain Tire Port Kells.

Frequently Asked Questions About Fountain Tire

When should I replace my tires?

Tires wear out over time, and how long they last depends on things like road conditions, driving habits, inflation, and temperature. The best way to know when to replace them is to check them regularly. Common ways to measure tread include the following. - Tread wear bars: When these are flush with the tread, it’s time to replace. - Coin test: If too much of the coin shows, your tread is low. - Tread depth gauge: The most accurate way to measure. If your tread is low or you see cracks, bulges, or notice vibration, come see us.

What are some signs my vehicle is out of alignment?

It doesn’t take much to throw your alignment off—potholes, curbs, or just everyday driving. Poor alignment can lead to faster tire wear and poor handling. Common signs include: - Vehicle pulls to one side - Crooked steering wheel - Uneven tire wear - Loose or unstable steering - Vibration in the steering wheel If something feels off, we’re happy to take a look.
