Was heading into Calgary on Sunday and one of my heater hoses blew off. Got my truck towed to Fountain Tire I just left it parked there. Went there in the morning to see if I can get it looked at and they already had a work order printed out for it. Great service as always.

I was travelling across the province in December of 2023 to visit a friend. The highways were really rough during that day. My Volvo XC90 had some steering issues, and a few parts went bad. I was towed to this shop as recommended by the tow truck service. When I arrived it was late on Friday, and there was a holiday on the following Monday. I was out of luck and thought I was going to be stranded for at least a couple of days. Likely missing work back home and not making it to other jobs in time. Steve Newton and his staff were lifesavers! They fixed my car that same day, and it was ready to go the next morning. I can't thank you all enough for getting my car back on the highway two years ago. I plan on bringing by a long-awaited thank-you gift next time that I drive through Salmon Arm. I will also mention many other shops were not willing to help me out. I sincerely appreciate the authenticity your team had for me in 2023. Will be back soon. I was able to see my girlfriend and make it back to work on time.

Frequently Asked Questions About Fountain Tire

When should I replace my tires?

Tires wear out over time, and how long they last depends on things like road conditions, driving habits, inflation, and temperature. The best way to know when to replace them is to check them regularly. Common ways to measure tread include the following. - Tread wear bars: When these are flush with the tread, it’s time to replace. - Coin test: If too much of the coin shows, your tread is low. - Tread depth gauge: The most accurate way to measure. If your tread is low or you see cracks, bulges, or notice vibration, come see us.

What are some signs my vehicle is out of alignment?

It doesn’t take much to throw your alignment off—potholes, curbs, or just everyday driving. Poor alignment can lead to faster tire wear and poor handling. Common signs include: - Vehicle pulls to one side - Crooked steering wheel - Uneven tire wear - Loose or unstable steering - Vibration in the steering wheel If something feels off, we’re happy to take a look.
