    I decided to try Sixt in December of 2025; I wont be making that mistake again. When I arrived to pick up the vehicle I asked the man at the counter if he was coming out to do a walkthrough of the vehicle with me before leaving, to which he replied "nope". I went outside and took a photo of each side of the vehicle (as I always do) before leaving the lot. I went on my trip, had no issues, and then returned the vehicle a couple days later. When I brought the keys inside, they had me sign the agreement saying everything was good and that I was free to go. Two days later I got an email from Sixt saying there was damage on front passenger rim (two scratches less than 10cm). I was extremely confused as the vehicle was parked in a garage for almost my entire trip, there was no street parking, and I had no issues during any of my driving. I filled out their claim report stating the damage was there before I left the lot, and NOT as a result of my time with the vehicle. I circled the damage on my time and date stamped photo and attached it to the form. I didn't hear anything back for 3 months, so I figured they reviewed my note and photo, and closed the case. WRONG! Instead, this week they have a claims company send me an email stating I owe them $780 for the rim scratch. I AGAIN respond to the email stating it was evident from the photo I attached I am not responsible for the damage, to which I have no response. To further frustration, finding a phone number to talk with a representative isn't an easy task; and the situation hasn't been resolved. I should have read the many reviews of others with this same experience (ironically enough with the same reported damage). Save yourself the hassle and don't book with Sixt, I will never use Sixt again and will advocate for others to do the same. A report with the BBB has been filed.

    Scam of a company. If you decide to rent from here PLEASE make sure you take pictures of every inch of the vehicle because they do not do their own inspection and expect the renter to do so. Will go on to blame you for random damages. Tried charging us for a scratch on a vehicle plus a bunch of dings and a cracked windshield with 0 proof and a before and after. Then proceeds to threaten us by saying they will take legal actions. Innocent until proven guilty. With a quick google/reddit search, I’ve found out that they have a very nice and big track record of them doing this exact thing with other clients. AND multiple report to the Better Business Bureau.

    0 star, never ever rent car from this company. It seems like scammer. At first it seems cheap price but it charge customers for nothing later. I rented a car from this location in June 2026 for two days. Then I returned the car without any damage and recovered videos that clearly showed the car was not damage. After 15 days I received an email that the car has been damaged 10 centimetres at the rear bumper and charged me $441 for repairing. I shared the video for evidence that the car was not damaged the time of returning. Even didn’t answer my email for around two months. Again asked me the money without saying any thing about the video I shared. I shared the video again. Finally after exchanging several emails they didn’t accept the video as evidence. They get $441 somehow by force. If you guys rent car from this company be ready for paying a big money after returning the car for nothing.

    A horrible car rental company. DO NOT USE USE THEM EVER. !!! tUnfortunately, I booked two through a THIRD party company and gave a deposit. They did not pick me up at all at the airport after calling two times so I had to book a cab to take me to their site I CALLED THEIR ONE 800 NUMBER. I WAS TOLD THEY WOULD BE THERE IN 12 MINUTES at the shadow pick up, but they never showedAN HOUR LATER THEY STILL WERE NOT THERE. and after I took a cab to their business they told me they didn’t have a care gor me. terrible unscrupulous company. And left me abandoned They just abandoned a 70-year-old woman on her own absolutely despicable service. I felt totally discriminated against as a senior white woman while they’ spokein their own language spoken in I felt I was discriminated against This company should be shut down immediately. Don’t waste your money on them. Their car rental rates are cheaper but that’s for a reason. My deposit was paid and they did not honor it so I suspect there’s some scamming going on. Avoid at all costs. They left me crying and alone and abandoned What kind of company does that don’t ever use them? I know I never will again.
