    Booked a 4WD vehicle with winter tyres for over the Christmas period for a holiday starting in Vancouver and ending in Calgary. When I contacted the agent 3 days prior to pick up they could or would not guarantee the vehicle would be fitted with the winter tyres (not just the legally required M+S tyres). Many emails were exchanged over the next days and I would have cancelled the booking had I been able to source an alternative vehicle with the winter tyres. In the end at pick up we were given an upgraded vehicle with winter tyres so it was okay (we still lost traction even with 4WD and snow + ice tyres on a few occasions). Not sure I will use National again given the readiness they showed to walk away from our original agreement.

When I returned the car without a completely full tank of gas, Carlos showed exceptional professionalism and kindness by not charging me any extra fees. This level of understanding and customer care is rare and truly appreciated. Carlos was courteous, efficient, and made the return process smooth and stress-free.     Easy to book a car and to make some changes the pick up was very nice and I felt looked after and got a nice car and the one that I wanted. When I dropped it off, it was so easy just pulled up. Person was right there to check me out and say thanks for your business.
