    Planning a trip to Vancouver and looked up this car rental. They charge more at the airport branch than a nearby local branch. Recommend to take uber or ask a family member/friend to drive to the local car rental to hire a car instead.

    As an executive elite member, this is probably the first (and last) time i’ll rent from National at this location. I rented a car 3 months ago, and it was later at night when I went to pick up the car from Executive Elite area, and the uncle, who was at the gate, was just scrolling on his phone loudly when I approached him for help. I picked up 2 different cars (that I want to drive), and he just screamed loudly at me saying that “You can’t take this” and “You can’t take that”. What’s the purpose of putting all cars in the EE aisle when I can’t even take any cars that I want. National is always known for great CS but this time is a huge disappointment for me.

    I regularly rent from National as they are competitively priced but best of all I don’t have to wait in line . I pick my car ( good selection) show drivers license and drive off . On return I leave keys in car and invoice emailed . Love it . Minimal contact

    Although I didn't like the vehicle I rented (a Mercedes CLA-class SUV), all the staff were great, kind, helpful, courteous. Would definitely rent from National again (just not that car).

    Such a great experience with National Car Hire at Vancouver Airport. Easy check in, smooth transition to the car and the friendliest service from Laura the concierge who made our day with her warm and friendly attitude!
