Planning a trip to Vancouver and looked up this car rental. It is so injustice that they charge more than a double for cars at the airport branch than a nearby local branch. Recommend to take uber to the local car rental to hire a car instead.

We rented a car here twice — the first time on 10/17/2025 and the second time on 10/19/2025. The first experience was smooth. The second time had some complications.
We returned the car on 10/19/2025 at around 2:20 PM. Jim helped us and told us everything was good to go. I explained to him that the Enterprise downtown location had exchanged our original rental (a compact Volkswagen Jetta) for a Nissan Rogue after our car was broken into. The downtown staff told us to come to the airport location if we had any questions or needed paperwork confirmed. Jim went to speak with (I believe) the manager and then told us that they would email everything to us and that we were all set. So far, everything was fine.
However, later that day we were unable to fly back, so around 7 PM I made a new reservation and returned to rent another car. The employee helping me said that my previous rental had not been closed out yet and therefore he could not process the new reservation. I told him Jim had checked us out earlier, and I showed the photo I took of the gas tank at return. He recognized Jim’s name and told us to go to the return area to have it officially closed in the system, and then come back so he could complete the new rental.
We walked over to the return office, and I explained the situation again to the staff member there. He asked for the license plate number, but my friend (who had taken a video of the car in downtown) was already on the plane back to the U.S., so I didn’t have it. After I described the vehicle and confirmed whether it was a U.S. or Canadian plate, they were able to locate it and close out the return. This took about 15–20 minutes.
We went back to the rental counter, and the same employee helped us with the new reservation. The interaction felt a bit tense — his expression and tone made us feel uncomfortable, like we were being judged or not very welcome — but eventually we got the car, and he did smile at the end. It had been a long and stressful day, so I acknowledge that we may all have been tired, but the situation didn’t feel very friendly.
We returned the car the next day and saw Jim again. He remembered us, listened to what happened, and was extremely kind and helpful. I asked if we could leave the car there and come back later depending on whether we were able to rebook our flight. Jim helped us without hesitation. I am genuinely grateful for his kindness, patience, and professionalism — especially during a very stressful few days for us.
Thank you to Jim, and to Mo (the manager) who also assisted. Jim truly went above and beyond. He deserves recognition — and honestly, a raise.
