    If there were an option to give a negative rating, I would gladly give it to this YVR Airport branch. This was hands down one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. Two employees, Nav (manager) and Aman, spent more time playing games and lying than actually doing their jobs. We had a confirmed reservation and were ready to pick up the vehicle. The first payment attempt failed because I had temporarily locked my credit card through my mobile banking app. Once I unlocked it, the second payment went through successfully. At that point, the car should have been handed over—simple. Instead, they took my money and refused to give me the vehicle. I was supposed to leave for Calgary the same night, had Monday off, and had a 3-day trip planned. Thanks to their incompetence and lack of transparency, I was left stranded with no car and money stuck on my credit card for 24 hours. Aman took the payment and then casually said, “Sorry, your reservation didn’t go through—talk to the manager.” When I spoke to Nav, he pretended he had no idea what was going on and said he would “try to resolve it” with Aman. Meanwhile, Aman told my friend that Nav was the one who originally refused to release the car, even after payment. So which one is lying? Probably both. If they had clearly explained their policies from the start instead of misleading us and passing the blame, this situation could have been avoided. Instead, they chose to be unprofessional, dishonest, and completely indifferent to the impact on customers. Avoid this branch at all costs unless you enjoy having your plans ruined and your money held hostage.

    Booked a 1-way car rental from Vancouver airport to Calgary back in October, to be picked up in December. Added Winter tires as an add-on and received acknowledgement of this in our email confirmation. 2 days prior to pickup I checked online to find that our winter tire add-on had been removed. I called customer service who told us somebody would be in touch and changed our reservation to ‘pending’, however almost 24 hours went by with no call. We called again (now with less than 24 hours until our scheduled pick up) to be told that customer service had added a note to our booking that we required winter tires, and that we would have no issue having these added when collecting the car. We had no luck trying to call the airport location directly, calls were being re routed to a call centre in America despite calling the number listed under their address in google. We needed 100% confirmation as we would be driving through the snowy highways and anything less than winter tires was quite frankly dangerous. I went to a central city location and was told they weren’t able to help, we needed to physically visit the airport. Reluctantly travelled across the city to the airport location to confirm, where we were told that winter tires were not available, and have never been available on 1-way car rentals. They said we had been texted and informed of this which we hadn’t, nor any emails or calls or anything online showing this (why let us add these on online in the first place if not possible??). No acknowledgment of our online booking being re-adjusted without communication. They tried to tell us that M+S tires would be okay in the snow and ice which is dangerous advice to be giving. Terrible communication and false information provided, would not recommend - taking my business elsewhere!
