  I booked a car through our company to pick up from Port hardy airport. Flight arrived at 02:20pm and no one was at the airport counter. There was a phone number left at the counter and when I called he showed up at 03:00pm. I sign the contract and when I received the car I was astonished to see the status of the car. It was not clean at all. Rear seats were down and read headrest was removed. 2 used coffee cups under the seat. However, I end up cleaning the car for 20 minutes at the local gas station. Last week I rented a car again from the Budget and the agent was very polite and professional. Car was clean and he was punctual and at the airport counter. I checked to write a email to National rent a car and there is only a phone number which no one answer. No email contact in their website. This was the worse rental car experience I had.

  My mother rented a vehicle there in an emergency situation, after driving the car less then a few miles the tire blew out, the company then had it towed twice and charged her for both tows and replacing multiple tires, and charged her almost $1,000 for having the car for only a few miles. The picture of the flat tire was a very old run-down tire. It's criminal what this company is doing and I'm shocked national endorses this kind of business practice. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!!

  Although initially a pleasant experience, it seems that our first impressions were not accurate. It has taken a week and four phones calls to get a receipt, only for us to find out that we had been charged two extra days. We called both this location and the main customer helpline, only to receive the same inadequate customer service. And still no receipt.

  Worst service I have ever had at a rental agency. Would rather walk than to have to deal with them again.
