Interacting with Iain McCann and his team at Fountain Tire over the past two weeks has been such a great experience. I have been looking for a shop that can take on maintaining my Ram pickup, and the Fountain Tire people have given great advice on spare tire selection at no cost, and today they fixed a problem with the cabin air filter caused by another local shop and did not charge me for that 10 minute repair. I'm looking forward to working with them and paying them to do work on the truck. We have had a very comfortable start in that process.

Iain and his team are amazing! I’ve been going for a few years now and always get the same professional service, great advice, and just that little bit extra. They even tried to give my son tips on the best car to buy! Thanks for being my go to place for all things car related.

The first time I came it was for a tire change, and I have since been back twice because the experience is just easy every time. What has stood out most, is how clearly everything is explained and I don't feel like I'm being upsold or talked down to. When something actually needed attention, Ian (the owner) walked us through it in a way that made sense. The same thing happened when we were choosing tires - Ian went over the different options, explained why he’d recommend one over another, and it wasn't the most expensive tire. I also appreciated how quickly they were able to fit us in on more than one occasion! Even on short notice, the turnaround has been faster than I expected. One of the times we called we had run over a shard of metal, and Ian fit us in within an hour and had the tire fixed and we were on our way really quickly. I highly recommend Ian and is team!

Frequently Asked Questions About Fountain Tire

When should I replace my tires?

Tires wear out over time, and how long they last depends on things like road conditions, driving habits, inflation, and temperature. The best way to know when to replace them is to check them regularly. Common ways to measure tread include the following. - Tread wear bars: When these are flush with the tread, it’s time to replace. - Coin test: If too much of the coin shows, your tread is low. - Tread depth gauge: The most accurate way to measure. If your tread is low or you see cracks, bulges, or notice vibration, come see us.

What are some signs my vehicle is out of alignment?

It doesn’t take much to throw your alignment off—potholes, curbs, or just everyday driving. Poor alignment can lead to faster tire wear and poor handling. Common signs include: - Vehicle pulls to one side - Crooked steering wheel - Uneven tire wear - Loose or unstable steering - Vibration in the steering wheel If something feels off, we’re happy to take a look.
