So came here for a few things on my truck, over heating issue, and drive shaft steady bearing ( hanger bearing) windshield washer pump installation…. The steady bearing was replaced they missed dropping the steady bearing on the driveshaft and ordered oem parts, missed that the driveshaft was supposed to have a drop kit attached to the steady bearing to compensate for the lift. I had made it very clear to the shop my truck is far from stock. And had bds suspension. They installed without drop kit, this in turn wrecked my drive shaft and has torn out 2 more steady bearing s since…. The repairs for over heating were incorrect as I left the shop i over heated within 20 Kms of golden, I ended realizing that the thermostat was faulty and that there was a pinhole leak in my overflow for my coolant. This is something that the mechanic missed…. I had to pull thermostat on side of highway and was then able to drive without overheating….. the washer pump they installed fell out within a couple of days of leaving the shop, due to a gasket that was damaged during installation…. I then had warranty work done on the hanger bearing and it failed within 300 km of new installation because of the damage caused from the hanger bearing failure, the hanger bearing failure is due to the drop kit not being on the truck at time of installation, I’m now told that it’s 1600$ plus install on a new one piece driveshaft, it wasn’t until I went to the second shop that I was told I should see a driveline shop, because the angle looked steep on my driveshaft But they never realized that the drop kit was missing, I also have bds suspension stickers on my truck…. My truck is still not working and they want me to pay for the damages caused by them missing a drop kit… also owner told me he didn’t know what bds suspension is and then said that he only install s item parts…. Every repair from this shop was either the wrong repair for the work or done incorrectly because they missed installing a critical piece. I have a driveline shop tell me the repair on my driveshaft previously done is a normal repair that is sometimes done, they are now trying to blame a previous repair for the issue, the previous repair wasn’t an issue until the steady bearing was replaced, it was damaged after the steady bearing blew out because of a repair that wasn’t done correctly. I’ve spoken to owner, he is dishonest and this location sells repair s that aren’t needed, these guys cut corners on their repairs… They don’t stand behind their work pick another place or you’re doomed….

I was on vacation when my vehicle broke down, and while others turned me away, Fountain Tire fit me in without hesitation. Their team was friendly, professional, and fair with pricing. They quickly diagnosed the transmission issue with my Nissan Juke and had me back on the road on time. What impressed me most was their honesty, they could have turned this into an expensive repair, but instead, they handled it with integrity. The front staff were a pleasure to deal with, and the mechanics proved to be both knowledgeable and thorough. It’s rare to find this level of service, professionalism, and trustworthiness all in one place and to receive it as a traveler. If you need anything vehicle related, take it to Fountain Tire, you’ll get the same outstanding experience I did!

Frequently Asked Questions About Fountain Tire

When should I replace my tires?

Tires wear out over time, and how long they last depends on things like road conditions, driving habits, inflation, and temperature. The best way to know when to replace them is to check them regularly. Common ways to measure tread include the following. - Tread wear bars: When these are flush with the tread, it’s time to replace. - Coin test: If too much of the coin shows, your tread is low. - Tread depth gauge: The most accurate way to measure. If your tread is low or you see cracks, bulges, or notice vibration, come see us.

What are some signs my vehicle is out of alignment?

It doesn’t take much to throw your alignment off—potholes, curbs, or just everyday driving. Poor alignment can lead to faster tire wear and poor handling. Common signs include: - Vehicle pulls to one side - Crooked steering wheel - Uneven tire wear - Loose or unstable steering - Vibration in the steering wheel If something feels off, we’re happy to take a look.
