I’m a pilot truck driver for a rig moving company out of GP and when I discovered a good leak in my tire while waiting at the Baytree Scales for an over sized load I called around for an emergency tire repair. Fountain Tire was the only one who would slip me in asap, I was able to get there, get in and get back with a correctly repaired tire, not a temporary plug within 10 mins of my driver getting to the scales! Great services by the girls on the service desk and the tire tech who did the repair!!

Frequently Asked Questions About Fountain Tire

When should I replace my tires?

Tires wear out over time, and how long they last depends on things like road conditions, driving habits, inflation, and temperature. The best way to know when to replace them is to check them regularly. Common ways to measure tread include the following. - Tread wear bars: When these are flush with the tread, it’s time to replace. - Coin test: If too much of the coin shows, your tread is low. - Tread depth gauge: The most accurate way to measure. If your tread is low or you see cracks, bulges, or notice vibration, come see us.

What are some signs my vehicle is out of alignment?

It doesn’t take much to throw your alignment off—potholes, curbs, or just everyday driving. Poor alignment can lead to faster tire wear and poor handling. Common signs include: - Vehicle pulls to one side - Crooked steering wheel - Uneven tire wear - Loose or unstable steering - Vibration in the steering wheel If something feels off, we’re happy to take a look.
