- EGErin GoodineFeb 23, 20251.0If I could give zero stars— I would. We reserved a vehicle after our flights were canceled, when we got to the Nanaimo airport at 10:50 pm there was NOBODY there. Business hours state that this location is open until 12:30 am. Entirely unhelpful and falsely advertised. Love that Employees can simply close up whenever they like! We ended up needing to take a very expensive cab to Victoria. Make sure you call ahead to ensure the employees haven’t dismissed themselves and gone home before the end of business hours. Even better— when we called the number it was a cellphone that rang behind the counter. Shout out to the Nanaimo airport security officer who was very kind and felt horrible that we were treated so poorly by this business.
