Fountain Tire now my lifetime tire place. The low tire pressure light came on. From past experience I knew I must have a nail or screw on one of my tires. From past experience I also knew this could mean a quick cheap tire plug, or, it could mean the tear is too big and hundreds of dollars for a new tire! I was downtown Abbotsford so I went to the first automotive place I saw. I won't say who, but I asked if they had time to check my tire. They did and soon discovered a nail in one of my back tires. They also told me that the nail was in a spot that was not fixable and would require a new tire. I groaned and asked the cost. After some calculations the clerk told mee that I could not just get one tire, I had to get two because tread would imbalance the car. He had a deal for me, $300 a tire, plus special mounting and alignment fees and such. He was happy to say it would only cost me $840! I said thankyou, let me think about it. On my drive home I scheduled an appointment with FOUNTAIN TIRE in Abbotsford for the next day. At Fountain Tire they took my keys, gave me a coffee and I waited about 20 minutes. The attendant soon came back with my keys and told me IT WAS A MINOR FIX, NO CHARGE! FOUNTAIN TIRE FOREVER!

Frequently Asked Questions About Fountain Tire

When should I replace my tires?

Tires wear out over time, and how long they last depends on things like road conditions, driving habits, inflation, and temperature. The best way to know when to replace them is to check them regularly. Common ways to measure tread include the following. - Tread wear bars: When these are flush with the tread, it’s time to replace. - Coin test: If too much of the coin shows, your tread is low. - Tread depth gauge: The most accurate way to measure. If your tread is low or you see cracks, bulges, or notice vibration, come see us.

What are some signs my vehicle is out of alignment?

It doesn’t take much to throw your alignment off—potholes, curbs, or just everyday driving. Poor alignment can lead to faster tire wear and poor handling. Common signs include: - Vehicle pulls to one side - Crooked steering wheel - Uneven tire wear - Loose or unstable steering - Vibration in the steering wheel If something feels off, we’re happy to take a look.
