  I purchased a set of tires and wheels at the Yuma, AZ location. I only purchased the wheels and tires since I was getting a lift kit at a different shop. I just wanted to have the wheels and tires before the lift so I can get it installed all at once. They gave me a good deal for Tires + Wheels. At the time of the purchase they didn’t have the lug nuts I wanted. The manager said to come back in a couple days and he will have some by then. No biggie, I retuned a couple days later and the lug nuts haven’t arrived. The manger sent one of the workers to Discount Tire to buy the black lug nuts. A week later It turns out the ones I was given were meant for a different size truck. I returned and the manager replaced it for me; and I brought the original ones that he bought from Discount Tire. One day later, boom I got the lift with the new tires and wheels so I’m happy, but I noticed my steering wheel shakes at a certain speed, so I went back to the mechanic where I got the lift. He mentioned that the tires have a different size lug nut that is causing the shaking. I wanted a second opinion so I went to another local tire shop (Ed Whitehead’s) and the mechanic stated the lug nuts are the wrong ones for your truck. So with all this information I went back to Rent a Wheel to speak to the manager, he wasn’t available at that time and I asked one of the workers if they have the lug nuts I need. The worker stated they don’t. So I went to different tire shops and I finally found them at the mall Discount Tire. I paid a total of 68$ for a set of 24 lug nuts. I went back to Rent a Wheel, spoke to the manager and it felt off. He stated that all the Tacoma’s they work on haven’t had any issues. He gave me the feeling he didn’t want to work on it, but he eventually installed the new lug nuts. As he was installing them, he pointed out that the previous lug nuts only turned 7 times for tightness and the new lug nuts (the ones I purchased) turned 14 times before it got tightened. It makes logical sense why my vehicle was shaking, it wasn’t tighten enough. After the installation, I asked if he can order the lug nuts in black. He totally brushed me off, mentioned to order them on Amazon and if I bring them he will install them. It really disappointed me, for the amount of $ (over 2K), I spent on tires and wheels to be treated that way. It wasn’t my fault the lug nuts they provided wasn’t meant for my truck. I didn’t get no apologies for this inconvenience (buying the right set of lug nuts): I could have even gotten into an accident with all that shaking. One of the mechanics stated, he’s surprised my tires didn't rip apart. At no time, did I lose my cool; at the end I just walked out. After this interaction, and the manager’s customer service it made me regret buying with Rent a Wheel. FYI - My truck doesn’t shake anymore after the installation of the new lug nuts (the ones I purchased).

  2 tires that were supposed to cost 300 were almost a thousand dollars later, 11 months after, (not even a full year) they tell me that the tires don't have warranty or any type of coverage. I asked if they could please provide me with another tire because mine was damaged already, I understand, that happens and it is no-one's fault, but I paid for so many months 43 dollars every 2 weeks, anyways, they understood but they told me they will call me back with the approval because they had to order the tire and I am still waiting for the call... When it is about money they are good to take it and trap you into contracts and stuff, but when it is about a problem you have, none of the people there cares about it. I have been dealing with this for a long time now.... Hopefully someone can read this comment and act wisely... do not let them trap you 😡
