- SISS Carrier INCNov 11, 20251.0Our truck was parked at this truck stop on Friday, and the driver abandoned it there. On Monday, we tried to reach the driver but were unsuccessful. We then spoke with the truck stop staff to check whether the driver was still in the truck or had left. They informed us that they were also looking for the driver. We contacted the police, and they came to inspect the truck. The police confirmed that the driver was not in the vehicle and also informed us that the truck stop planned to have the truck towed. After hearing this, I called the manager, Daniel, and explained the situation. I also told him that we were willing to pay for all parking fees owed. However, he was uncooperative, responded rudely, and still proceeded to have our truck towed. I then contacted the towing company and explained the situation, but they said there was nothing they could do. We believe it was unfair to tow the truck while the company was actively trying to resolve the situation and was ready to pay all parking fees.

Big big shout out to Chona one of the supervisors over there for her friendly smile and support when someone asks for help!
