I like this place good fuel prices, showers, and the scenery and burrows are great. Some Food is a bit pricey. This year everything seems high in price. I don’t think there is product competition anymore. The end of November has much better weather temperatures. Lots of BLM land to explore for rock hounding

I usually stop here if I have to go to lhc or mohave Valley. Always clean and great selection of snacks and drinks. Also they have a hot food area where you can get pizza, or breakfast items.

Shower was really nice. Has as hot as water as you can stand, in shower 9 anyhow. Run of the mill hot bar. Has suds and laundry all around not a bad place. Now when it comes to southern tire mart, driver , don't waste your time here. If you absolutely must at least talk to someone with better understanding on how trucking works than the lady inside. She will have you there longer than necessary. I however decided not to entertain such stupidity and chose not to do business with them.

It's a good truck stop. I stopped here twice this year. The employees are kind and easy to talk to. But like all gas stations, since I have 20 food allergies, there is almost nothing I can eat or drink there. Pumpkin seeds, cheese sticks, orange juice. That's about it. But I am used to it. I need grain-free organic stuff with no pesticide residues. But that isn't why I removed 1 star. I removed 1 star because the shower body towel smelled like mildew, and felt rough and scratchy like it was old. And no hand towel was provided. I did like the size of the shower and how it had 2 showerheads on different walls so I could be sprayed from 2 directions at once, that was a rare feature, and it also had a handheld shower head. And the bench in the shower was nice to rest on. But I suggest they replace the towels more frequently, perhaps once a month, so they don't smell like mildew, and so they stay fluffy and soft. That towel felt like sandpaper compared to the towels at Petro. The Petro I took a shower at east of Kingman had little bonuses like providing 2 body towels, a hair drier, and a little plastic hotel style cup. 2 towels is good to shower then shave and haircut then shower again. And the Little America in Flagstaff had jumbo king size bathtubs in their shower rooms. I wish more truck stops had bathtubs to soak in. But being sprayed from 2 directions at this Flying J was pretty great. The tire shop on site was a nice perk. But they put up pointless curbs to block you from going to it through the lot and you have to drive all the way around the property to access it. Maybe that is good to separate the semis from the normies though. And what is with the music here hehe, it's like bow wow wow yippee yo yippie yay style like it's a party in Wichita in the early 90s or late 80s. Makes you wonder where you are and what year it is, party on Garth, party on Wayne. Updated the next day: the water here dried out my hair and skin, stripped all the oils out. They need a water softener bad. Probably why the towel felt like sandpaper. The Petro left my hair and skin in good shape. But this place left my skin itchy the entire next day and left my hair unmanageable and too dry to brush without it turning to stringy frizz.
