- CNChaitali NaikJan 2, 20261.0We had a check-engine light come on, and after speaking with Alamo on the phone, they instructed us to exchange the car at this Enterprise location. However, the attendant and manager, Maddy, was extremely uncooperative. We explained that Alamo had directed us to swap the vehicle there, but she repeatedly insisted that she couldn’t help us and that we needed to contact Alamo again. Since we were sent by their partner company, it should have been her responsibility to sort out the process and us be the middle man. We called Alamo back, and they confirmed that she was able to complete the exchange but was simply unwilling to assist. We also had a flight to catch that day and didn’t have time for unnecessary delays. Even the Alamo representative told us the way we were being treated was inappropriate and advised us to go to another location — where the staff were very cooperative and clearly understood their job.

Customer service was very helpful and directed us to a nearby location (5 minutes away) for a car change. Unfortunately, the lady manager at that location (Maddy or Marie) was extremely rude and refused to help, claiming she couldn’t override her system. Even after customer service spoke to her directly and explained that Enterprise owns Alamo and National and that the change was possible, she still refused. Because of her attitude and lack of cooperation, we were forced to drive an extra 20 minutes to the airport to change the car. Very disappointing experience—especially when dealing with a safety issue.
