Took in my vehicle for transmission oil change no issues with it. After dropping of got a call saying that my vehicle wouldn't go in gear never had any issues with it. They wanted to up sell me they wanted to do a total transmission rebuilt I declined. Had it inspected at the dealership no issues with the transmission just need the filter and oil change.

I took my vehicle to get the oil change on my transmission just for maintenance I never had any issues with it in 9 years that I've owned it. After I dropped it off I get a call asking me if I had any issues with my transmission because when they took it for a test drive the vehicle wouldn't move that they had to turn it off then turn it on and then it worked. That was right after I dropped so I thought that's weird it's never done that before why would it do it when I took it in for maintenance . Then they canceled me to tell me that it needs to have the transmission rebuilt for more than 6k so I said no . They said that said that they didn't recommend doing the oil change because it could affect the transmission so they were going to put everything back together witch they should of said at the time I dropped off my vehicle. They still charged me almost same amount as if they would of done the oil change. I felt that they wanted to up sell me the transmission rebuilt even though my transmission was working fine even when I picked it back up. They should of been upfront with me and told me that they didn't want to do just the oil change and I would of taken it somewhere else. I was really disappointed with there service.

I had a very disappointing experience with All Star Transmission. I brought in a fairly new vehicle with only 71,000 miles, well under 100k, expecting an honest diagnosis. Instead, I was quoted three different prices for the same work, which immediately raised red flags.
They ultimately tried to charge me around $5,000 to rebuild my transmission, which made no sense given the condition, age, and mileage of my car. The lack of consistency, transparency, and clear explanation made me feel like they were trying to take advantage of me rather than help.
I believe customers deserve honesty and straightforward pricing, especially when dealing with major repairs. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion before agreeing to any work from this shop.
