I went to my regular mechanic today to get my transmission fluid changed, because jiffy lube is unable to do so on my car’s CVT. It has been only 6 days since they “change my oil” and my car has no oil on the dipstick. To my knowledge (and my mechanic’s) there is absolutely no reason that my car should not have enough oil to even leave a drop on my dipstick- 6 DAYS AFTER and “oil change.” I am wondering now, how many other people they are doing this to, and if this was done at my last oil change as well. If I come in for an oil change and I’m paying for that, why not fill it up??? And if you are not going to fill it, why was I not informed, maybe it’s an additional price or something. I would have paid!! I am a woman and I know the stigma of getting ripped off by mechanics, I thought I found a trustworthy place to go as I felt well treated by the employees with great customer service. I am now paying for another oil change, from a reputable mechanic. Luckily I can afford to do so but I may not have been a month ago, you don’t know people’s situations and it needs to stop.

He acted as if I worked there and should already know how everything works. Not what I expect from Jiffy Lube. Go to the location on W Guadalupe Rd. Much better team. Trust me. Less than 10 minutes down the road and wayyy more pleasant experience.
