  Having lived in Arizona for 30 years I would like to offer EVgo some Desert Rat advice. When you place any kind of video screen in the Arizona sun please,please, please have a simple flexible screen cover that can be lifted out of the way during use and used to shade the screen in bright sunlight. The screen on the unit I just used was completely sun baked into uselessness. It was unreadable. I had to rely on my phone app to start and stop my charging session. Most banks and other kiosk services have figured out this basic reality in Arizona. I am amazed that a company that has installed stations worth millions of dollars can’t seem to figure out how to install a $40 sunscreen over a video screen.

  Needed a quick charge to get home - 20 miles cost me $10...the flat $2.99 credit card fee then something like $.69/wh. I rarely use charging stations but the times I have, I got a whole lot more for a whole lot less. EV users don't want to download 20 different apps and make 20 different accounts to charge their vehicles. I guess theres a discount if you do but I was just in need of a quick 20 miles. That said...it did charge very fast and I didnt have any issues with anything, so very satisfactory there! Probably got 20 miles in about 3-4 min.

  Terrible chargers, many of them don’t work, even if it shows online that it is working, you get there and it’s not working, and then, if you get lucky enough that it is working, there might be another car already sitting there that had just gotten there, Or somebody sitting in there, sleeping, taking a nap while it is already fully charged, you have to go and knock on peoples windows to wake them up, EVGO only needs to get their act together, Plus, don’t even make a mistake of charging there on peaks hours, something that’ll cost you 20 bucks for the cost should double the price I’ve paid even 43 bucks just to charge an hour and a quarter, really a rip off, I don’t think I’m going to keep the polestar anymore. I would go back to the Tesla.
