Trenton M. at Waddell and Reems was very helpful with his customer experience today. Super goated honestly. Went out of his way to call another store to verify stock amounts. Very funny and super helpful, an increase to the vibe of the day.

I'm writing this review to express my extreme disappointment with the handling of my car battery issue at this AutoZone location. It's been nearly a month since I filed a complaint, and the problem remains unresolved. I initially purchased a battery for my car, which failed in less than 90 days. I returned it, and it was replaced under warranty. However, the replacement battery also died shortly after installation. Upon returning to the store, I was told that the replacement battery was only intended for temporary use, like when trading or selling a car. I wish I had been informed of this at the time of purchase, as I would have chosen a more reliable option.
What's particularly frustrating is the inconsistency in communication. After filing the complaint, I received a call stating that the battery was charging and ready for pickup. I drove all the way to the store, only to be told that the battery was bad. This wasted my time and effort. I was later informed that the AutoZone district manager had called and left a voicemail, which I never received. Subsequent calls to check on the progress have been met with excuses and no tangible results. I requested that all future updates be sent via email to avoid further miscommunication.
While the employees at the store were very nice, respectful and seemed genuinely willing to help, my issue is not with them, as they have no control over the situation. My complaint lies with the overall handling of my case and the lack of resolution from AutoZone's management. This level of service is unacceptable and unexpected from such a well-known brand. I gave three stars just for the employees otherwise I was gonna put 1.

Got out of work after a long day to have the truck battery dead. Had a long week because of travel so was ready for the weekend. Took the truck up to autozone to change the battery. It proved more challenging than anticipated with the air intake needing to be removed and a lot of wiring harness. New vehicles give the mechanics no room to work. Alexis S (in overalls) saved the day by not giving up on the project that most employees would probably say it’s beyond the simple battery installation. Relieved to be home with a new battery! Thank you Alexis- you’re the man!
