I have NO idea how this place is rated so high lol. Easily the worst car wash I’ve ever had.
Had a ton of bug spots on the front of my truck. I wasn’t expecting perfection, but I don’t know that it removed a single spot. Photo shows my front bumper AFTER I went through. My mirrors and windows still had soap on them when I was done, and the water spots on my windows were still dirty. I noticed as I went through there was very little water being used, so that makes sense.
I went in to ask for a refund, and the two young employees working were extremely friendly and apologetic, however they said the person who can issue refunds wasn’t there that day, so they took my name and number and stapled it to a receipt. I waited more than 24 hours, and still haven’t heard from them.
I apologized for being ‘that guy’ asking for a refund, and the employee told me ‘don’t worry, it happens all the time!’… which again has me curious how the rating is so high here, and why your employees can’t handle refunds if it happens that often…
3 Minute Car Wash Express: Now known as Dash Car Wash (Rebranded Name)
My vehicle received damage by the wheel well. Although the rep was helpful with providing the damage form, nothing came from my complaint. I paid for the ultimate wash, and none of my tires were done at all. There were no refunds offered for the wash, or maybe a couple of free washes for the future to help out. I was told we could go through again, but with the side pannel hanging down exposing the inside, that was not an option I could do. We have since received no calls back about this matter. I submitted photos, a copy of the damage report along with the copy of the complaint to the bank. It is ashame this company decided to ignore our situation. I would recommend anyone using this place to look over their vehicals before they leave. With that said, it would be a good idea to take a picture of the damage report as they do not give you a copy to refer to later. I rarely give 1 stars to any businesses I review. However, this one left me with no choice.
Update
The company has denied our claim. Tried to say the sensor wasn't working on one side for our vehicle. The other side was working, so what's the excuse? I wasn't gonna post the damage for the other claim, but since they wanna play games..let's do it. They damaged the side of our vehicle..so now what? Fix the problem..cause now, my viewers can see how you do your Veterans. They could have at least offered to refund the wash..the company doesn't want to help. Please don't go there cause if you do and you receive damages..they won't help you.
Update: 03/29/26
Beware of the comments being posted about the "attentiveness" of this place of business. We have yet to be contacted by Dash as they told their staff members they were not going to address our concerns nor fix the damage. Anyone can come on here and give 4 stars if they didn't receive damage to their vehicle.
Ooh and it get's better:
Q: What was 3 Minute Car Wash Express reviews before they became – Express Car Wash?
Before rebranding to Dash Car Wash, the 3 Minute Express Car Wash (specifically in the Goodyear, Surprise, and Tempe areas of Arizona) had mixed reviews, with a significant decline in reputation noted by many customers shortly before the change.
Based on reviews from platforms like Yelp and BBB, here is what customers said:
Common Positives (Before Rebranding):
Convenience and Location: Many customers appreciated the location, noting it was a quick, convenient option for a fast wash.
Free Vacuums: The free vacuum bays were frequently highlighted as a great, cost-effective feature.
Customer Service: Some specific employees were praised for being helpful, bright, and hardworking.
Common Complaints and Issues:
Membership and Billing Issues: A major source of frustration, particularly toward the end of their branding, involved customers being billed for "unlimited" memberships they claimed they never signed up for or had previously canceled.
Equipment Damage: Numerous customers reported that the wash equipment scratched their cars, and there were complaints about poor management response to damage claims.
Declining Quality: Toward the end of the 3 Minute branding, many reviews indicated the vacuums were frequently broken, air hoses were removed, and the wash itself was poor, leaving cars dirty.
Staffing Issues: Several reviewers mentioned that employees often seemed overwhelmed, undertrained, or that there was no manager on-site to handle issues.
One reviewer noted, "Changing your name from 3 Minute to Dash doesn't change the fact your poor quality equipment regularly damages people's vehicles".
