Yikes! Called AZ Bimmer Werks and the price was about half. Brought the car in. To their credit when they tested the battery it showed ok. After discussing it I still elected to replace the battery which did correct the auto stop issue. I was impressed with the shop, the service and the honesty when they checked the battery. They also did a thorough inspection for no charge. I’ve found my shop for work going forward on my Z4.
