- LLlrpwickyDec 27, 20251.0Warning- if you value your paint job do not use them! Their equipment put deep spiraling gouges into the passenger side door of my brand new Ford F250. I took pictures and called them Soon as I return home and noticed the damage. The minimum wage manager had me bring the vehicle back to the car wash, she took pictures and told me that she would review camera footage. She called me three hours later and said she was done with the investigation and that her cameras didn’t show any damage to my vehicle as it left the car wash. Funny because the vehicle would still be wet degree, which would help hide the scratches and I asked her to see the video and pictures and she flat out refused, saying that I would have to contact an attorney and subpoena the pictures. The spiral are clearly from one of the rotating brushes that malfunctioned and scratched the bottom of the door, about 12 inches wide and 6 inches high. It clearly did this as it came off of the Sideview mirror and slammed into my car door. Seeing that they have a D minus rating with the Better Business Bureau. I am not surprised to see this type of reaction from them, instead of taking ownership. As I looked into this further, it seems that this is an ongoing problem with the Mr car wash in general specifically the ones in the Tucson area in particular. In fact, there are news articles written about it were the CEO to address They’re broken equipment, damaging vehicles, and their poor customer service. I also didn’t know that a minimum wage on site manager is capable of conducting an in-depth vehicle damage investigation.
