  5 star service at Brakes Plus in Prescott Valley! I brought my car in for a free inspection today and they told me I was good to go- no repairs needed. Michelle and Dylan were very helpful and friendly. I value their transparency, along with informative and kind customer service!

  Thought we heard grinding on the back brakes went for the free inspection expecting up charges but instead our mechanic Ray did a thorough inspection and told us we still had plenty of pad but a little rust on the back that should be gone soon and Michelle h told us it was a free inspection and there's no charge amazing will be going back and sending everyone there

  Great experience overall. Michelle checked me in, clearly explained the costs, and went over the free car diagnostic. She was friendly and respectful of my time. I needed the service done quickly since I was traveling to see family for the holidays, and they made it happen. Danny did a great job with the oil change. I really appreciated the smooth and efficient service.

  My Corolla Le started acting up when I got out of my hotel one fine morning. When I started and tried to drive around in a completely new place, Prescott, Arizona, my car made the weirdest noise when I began driving as if something was breaking or chained my tires. I then slowly drove around for a couple of minutes and the noise suddenly disappeared. But still, I did not dare to drive it or risk driving for a longer distance as I had just driven all the way from Roswell to Prescott the night before. Then I went to the close-by repair shop named Brakes Plus. The service advisor, Michelle, was very friendly and professional and immediately took care of my problem and assigned the young and friendly mechanic, Cayden. He took out all the wheels and inspected the car lifting it up. He found something stuck inside the rotator of one of the wheels. Probably I picked up the debris along the way. I couldn’t be happier as Cayden fixed the problem so professionally. I deeply appreciate their immediate their attention and help! Without their prompt help, I didn’t know what I would do in a completely new place. They are the best! Thank you, Michelle and Cayden! Happy holidays!

  Brought my work van in for some repairs, quoted $3500. Picked it up, not 20 miles later - the dashboard starts screaming at me about overheating. Call the shop, they say "let it sit, probably an air pocket." Waited an hour, the coolant was empty. Checked under the van, lo-and-behold, a hose is just dangling. I guess a hose clamp or 2 weren't tightened or connected. Shop manager paid for a tow truck & fixed their mistake, but had an annoyed tone about him like he was being put out by me not being happy with the results of the $3500 job. Minor apologies, "mistakes happen." THEN THEY DIDNT EVEN REFILL THE COOLANT AFTER FIXING THEIR MISTAKE! The manager doesn't care about the stores reputation & just wants revenue. Best case scenario: it was a mistake. Worst case scenario: they intentionally left something loose in hopes of bringing me back but this happened sooner than they expected it would. Which sadly is a common theme with some mechanics. TL;DR: make them show you what they fixed. Every bolt and hose clamp they put back, and make sure they are fastened tightly. That is such a day 1 mistake, I find it hard to believe it was not intentional.
