After reading the reviews I can clearly see that our experience was definitely not the only time. Not only was the staff and management rude, but just like a lot of others we were targeted and told we weren't allowed to sleep overnight here. We pointed out to them multiple other people who had also been sleeping overnight but they ignored us snd told us to leave. Never again.

It's just always sooooooooo busy here, and there is *always* a wait for a shower. That's nothing against the staff of course, but it still sucks. EDIT: it updated the stars to 3 because the barber here is SO nice, the staff is very friendly, the water pressure in the shower is meh... temperature was fluctuating just a bit... and the Dennys is great!

They took away free parking to build some stupid shop. And the rest of the parking spots are all paid parking. Never coming here again.

I gotta say I’m completely impressed with this flying J, I pay for parking usually because only I drive in late on arrival at this chain locations. This is the only location with flying J and Pilot to have their stuff together. I got my paid receipt from the cashier, she called the security. The security guard was amazing. He found me a spot within five minutes, moved a driver out of his location so that I could have a paid parking spot. I highly recommend any drivers who pay for parking to go here their security and their staff have it correct which other chains would follow suit with this one. Dennys food was not all that great.

Since the company doesn't know what federal regulations even though. They work at what is considered part of the trucking industry... They don't understand. That they could be fined and put out a service for what their security guard Patrick from CIB.. harassing the truck drivers on their 10-hour shift even though he was explained by federal regulations he's not allowed to disturb the truckers bang on their door with metal objects because that's destruction of company property.... Whatever object he was hitting my truck with damaged the paint and I had to let my company know... It's not going to look good for him.. Nor can they be hanging off the truck and swing it back and forth buy hanging on the truck and disturbing DRIVERS... So now they have to be educated because the corporation is going to be. Reported to Federal.. Under Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations, a company should not disturb a truck driver during their mandatory 10-consecutive-hour off-duty break for work-related reasons that would interrupt their rest, as this is a safety violation. Regulations and Guidance Mandatory Rest Period: Drivers must take at least 10 consecutive hours off duty before they can drive again for up to 11 hours within a 14-hour window. This time is intended for restorative rest to prevent driver fatigue. Interruption Voids the Break: If the mandatory rest period is interrupted with work-related duties or calls that prevent adequate rest, the break no longer counts as a consecutive 10-hour period. This requires the driver to start their entire rest period over to be in compliance with HOS regulations. Minor Phone Calls Exception: The FMCSA has provided specific guidance stating that momentary telephone calls to or from the motor carrier do not, by themselves, constitute a change in the driver's duty status if they do not prevent the driver from obtaining adequate rest. However, repeated or prolonged calls, or calls that require the driver to engage in substantial work-related tasks, may be considered an interruption. Coercion: Pressuring or harassing a driver to interrupt their mandatory rest period can be considered a violation of the federal driver coercion rule (49 CFR §390.6). Companies found to be in violation can face significant civil penalties, potentially over $18,000 per violation. Driver Recourse Communication: Drivers can request that management refrain from calling during their designated off-duty time. Documentation: If a company continues to interrupt a driver's rest, the driver should document the dates, times, and nature of the calls. Official Complaint: Drivers who feel pressured or coerced can file a coercion complaint with the FMCSA through the National Consumer Complaint Database. The primary goal of these regulations is safety, and both the driver and the company can face penalties for non-compliance with the HOS rules.
