Poor at best , truck was on less then an 1/8 of a tank of fuel , when checking out the guy in the booth said that it was my fault for not checking the truck, when returning the kid would not accept my concern until I showed him a photo with the milage
Very poor service for the second time now, last time in New Braunfels Texas after reserving a car they had no cars on the day and said they sent all their cars to an airport , comport office did that and there was nothing they could do? there are far to many better rental companies out there to go through this again

Stellar customer service! 5 stars all the way! From the moment I stepped of the plane and entered into the Enterprise vehicle each person I came in contact with...even to the point of departure were excellent! And when I needed to change out vehicles three times, they remain apologetic and pleasant. Now you can imagine the issue and the cause for the three stars instead of 5. Their vehicles aren't the cleanest. The first one I rented was an Audi. I thought I could get passed the smell and that the burger and onions would dissipate. I had to change the vehicles bc I was also picking up some people. I was there on business and didn't want the vehicle to smell like a restaurant. Changing it out, the employees kindly apologized and put me into another vehicle of the same rental rate. It was a BMW X7. I was good with driving this. It was a good running vehicle no issues until I pulled up to a restaurant to eat. The seat moved back to let me out and an open bag of Frito chips came out from the side of the chair. I had smelt something while driving but I thought it was the air. It was both. The air vents smelt foul like a light scent of rotten eggs mixed with someone's feet. While driving, I just rolled down the windows. It wasn't until I saw food in the vehicle and in the seat that I decided to return the vehicle. Again, meeting a different customer service person, they kindly put me in the exact same level vehicle. It was late, and I was ready to check into my hotel. There was no fuss and it was a smooth transition. Great job team! Because I spend more time in the vehicle than I do with customer service, I may have to look at other rental options.

I went to the Enterprise counter at Phoenix Sky Harbor rental center to find that it was unmanned with a sign directing me to the Alamo counter. The people at Alamo did their best to help me, but it seemed that the process they had to go through was unnecessarily convoluted, complex, and opaque. Long story short, we spent an hour simply trying to get the keys to our car and leave the center. If Enterprise is going to rent cars to be picked up at a specified time, they damn well should have people working the counter at that time. I will not rent from Enterprise in the future.

All the agents we had face-to-face contact with were exceedingly helpful and friendly. These were at Phoenix airport desk, the Flagstaff airport and in the return rental area back in Phoenix. The last agent we talked to adjusted the price considerably for us becaue of the hassle and because we ended up with a smaller vehicle. I would have given 5 stars if not for the telephone support that was non-existant.
The story is: We rented a 15 passenger van in Phoenix and left for Grand Canyon NP. We discovered that the airconditioning did not work so called the support line (it was very warm in the area). The support line was no help, lied, and said they would call back but didn't. We were in the Grand Canyon and the closest rental place was Flagstaff. After two days we went to Flagstaff. They had a van but not a 15p van. We took it. They said they had not heard from the telephone support people but the support people had told us they called Flagstaff and alerted them so they could get a large van in for us.
Others in our group rented a separate car and all turned out well.

I was totally impressed with the entire experience. When I arrived at the airport I had already prepaid for a rental with another rental company. After standing in their long line, when it was my turn, their machine wouldn’t accept my driver’s license as valid so they simply told me I couldn’t have the car I had prepaid for. My refund… they said call the 800 number.
I was not happy and then I was approached by an Enterprise employee who asked to see if he could be of service. I explained my dilemma and he asked for my license, took it to his machine and then said it’s fine here. He then explained my options. I chose my car, and had a wonderful rental experience.
Upon my return I complimented Enterprise to Michael, the manager on duty and told him my story. Next time I will simply start with Enterprise.
