Went in with a xnon bulb needed replaced. Employee (Zion S) came back with one confirming it was the correct bulb without letting me see it. Upon opening package and noticing bulbs were different, I went back into store to ask employee. Who then came back with the correct bulb even though I was told the one I bought was the correct and only bulb they had. Regardless of having the correct bulb I needed I was denied return or an exchange even though it was employees mistake. As shown in pictures, both bulbs are clearly different.

Staff is extremely rude specially the gray hair guy that works around 3.30pm. Super rude and doesn't care about customers.
Very disappointed with the customer service at this AutoZone. I attempted to return a part that did not fit my vehicle, and the employee refused to process the return and told me to go to a different AutoZone because he “was not going to take it.”
The part was in new condition and within the return period. Being sent to another store instead of being helped is unacceptable and unprofessional. I’ve returned parts before without issues, so this experience was frustrating and unnecessary.
Customer service should help solve problems, not pass them off to another location.
Horrible customer service. they’ll just send you down the street to the other Autozone for help.

I want to take a moment to recognize Matthew, the assistant manager at AutoZone, for truly exceptional customer service. When faced with an extremely disgruntled customer, Matthew handled the situation with patience, professionalism, and calm authority. He diffused the tension gracefully, never losing his composure, and made sure the store environment stayed respectful and safe for everyone.
What impressed me even more was how he went above and beyond afterward to help my friend. Instead of rushing through the interaction, Matthew took the time to explain exactly what her car needed in clear, easy-to-understand terms. He didn’t just point her toward products—he made sure she felt confident about the next steps for her vehicle. His knowledge, kindness, and genuine care turned what could have been a stressful visit into a positive, reassuring experience.
AutoZone is lucky to have someone like Matthew leading the team. His ability to manage difficult situations while still prioritizing customer needs shows true leadership and dedication.
