- MMMark MartinezDec 21, 20251.0I gave safelite a 1 star only because the system doesn't allow for no stars...I scheduled safelite to replace my windshield and about one week later it was again cracked...I do not drive my car much as I have a company/work truck...The car was never driven and it had cracked on its own in my driveway...They accepted to replace it under warranty the first time but the same thing happened again and now they are saying something hit it and I would have to create a new claim...I am 100% confident nothing hit the windshield...The car sat in my driveway and when I got in it it was again cracked...I will never use safelite again and make sure others dont either...I will also add that the tech lady that came out had mentioned that the windshield was not installed correctly...The wrong clips had been used...The tech took pictures that were sent to the decision makers but it's been over a week and I haven't heard anything...Not happy!
