Alamo would not let me "skip the counter" during original reservation which was fine until we arrived and found ourselves waiting for 45 minutes (not enough CSR people), and then get to counter and our car option (standard SUV) was not available. Their replacement was a truck that would not accommodate our group. Only option they gave us was to upgrade SUV at our cost. We agreed to the cost just to get out of airport. The actual car exit and drop off experience was great (why we rated 2 versus 1), just wish Alamo would have delivered on the vehicle we reserved.

- TNTodd NewkirkFeb 20, 20264.0Extremely easy at AZA MESA airport getting the car and returning the car. Paid little more than I would of liked but it is high season there at this time. Counter agent was friendly and efficient. Was travelling solo. Car was hard to get golf clubs into even with back seat flipped down with my travel hard case. Return location is fine, but when carrying luggage and clubs several zig zags and multiple crosswalks as solo traveler that was not fun, luckily temps were good that day. It would of been brutal on a 100 degree day.
