Horrible customer service by the store manager, Richard I came in to get my money back for an alternator. Apparently the system wasn’t working and it wasn’t able to refund my money and Richard pretty much looked at me and said well there’s nothing I can do. My second question was is if I can get my money back via cash and he said absolutely not not for $500 and I just told him like hey man, you don’t have to get loud about it like I’m just asking a question so apparently he became a little agitated put his hand up and waved at me and then walked away Other customers that were there had the same reaction I did because the customer service was horrible

What an experience.. I went in today to get some oil. A gentleman is up front and I ask for his assistance, now granted to him everything in that store should be easily found, but to a woman who doesn’t have to deal with anything car related. I was so lost and confused and went to the wall of oils and had no clue what to grab. I walked back and asked for his help/assistance and instead got some attitude. Thankfully I’m on the phone with my brother, who is trying to help me. He is telling me what to ask this gentleman and the employee gets frustrated, I assume, that I asked for his help on which oil to buy. He walks back and just starts pointing at all the oils, I’m sure to be petty, and states exactly, “I didn’t think it was this hard” haha well I had so many things I wanted to say but instead told him, “thank you for doing your job and helping me” I tried to explain to him that NOT everybody knows what they are looking for. I asked if there was a difference between synthetic and non, he said there wasn’t. Just rude, and no help. I asked the gentleman for his name.. he told me his name was Matt. I thanked Matt for his time and left. I get to my brothers and we call the Autozone together. The manager Richard, specified there is NOBODY working there by the name of Matt. Very disappointing, in the end DO NOT COME HERE if you are looking for help and guidance and DO NOT go to ZEKE aka MATT!!!!

My sister needed an oil change and me thinking something as routine as an oil change she can stop by our local autozone and pick up the oil so when she gets to me i can let it cool down and change her oil. She gets me on the phone saying this guy named “Matt” told her to get “W30” so naturally i ask 5-w30? 10-w30 what he say she went back to ask and he said I didn’t think it would be that hard to find oil… I am on the phone with her and already have a few things to say but the biggest thing is making sure she gets the right oil filter cause if I have to go back to the store to get the right one the inconvenience is going to go both ways. I spoke to the manager Richard and he said he doesn’t have an employee named Matt that works there, his name is Zeke. Do not send your daughters or loved ones to Zeke because he will not only not be helpful, he will be sarcastic and overall make you want to drive to the store to tell him personally how to do his freaking job. I know they get busy but there’s a way to talk to people and if Zeke (Matt) is doing this to people he’s going to find out fast that he’s not a person who should be working in customer service.
