    Okay, I’ll admit it I work for O’Reilly’s, so walking into AutoZone felt a little traitorous 😅 but LISTEN… I walk in and this girl Zylie is literally on her hands and knees scrubbing stains out of the floor like it personally offended her. I had to do a double take. Who does that?! That’s next-level dedication. That’s “this store WILL sparkle on my watch” energy. And she wasn’t even grumpy about it she was sweet, cheerful, funny, and literally COVERED in glitter while deep-cleaning a parts store. Iconic behavior honestly. You can tell she genuinely cares about how the store looks and how customers feel walking in. That kind of pride in your work is rare and it shows. AutoZone is lucky to have her… but if she ever wants to cross enemy lines, O’Reilly’s might have to start a bidding war. I'll let that AutoZoner in my O'Reilly's 😘 We’ll throw in a raise, a crown, and maybe a red carpet entrance just to steal her 😌😉 All jokes aside — huge respect. I tip my hat to you, Zylie. Absolutely beyond impressed.

    My check engine light came on and it was not obvious what was wrong until I visited Auto Zone and utilized their free code reading service. The one minute it took to read the code and the three minute computer analysis revealed the likely causes of the problem. So, when I visit the dealer for service I can likely tell them what the problem is and not be taken advantage of by the dealer. Thank you Auto Zone for a job well done.

    I ordered a part from store as the picture showed two separate pieces but only got one the day I picked it up. I went to take it in to talk to an employee he kept asking What do you want me to do instead of fixing the situation. Came in the next morning and the lady helped and got the other half of the part. Great store and got to pick in choose the employees.

    This experience happened about a week ago, and I still find myself thinking about it because of how deeply it impacted me. What was one of the scariest, most overwhelming days for me and my daughter was made bearable—smooth, even—because of Zylie at this AutoZone. Earlier that day, my car had completely shut off in the middle of traffic. I had my 5-year-old daughter with me, my phone service was barely working, and I had already been stranded for over an hour before I even made it to the store. By the time I walked inside, I was exhausted, shaken, and trying my best to hold it together. Once Zylie came out to run the scanner, everything I had been suppressing hit me all at once, and I started having a panic attack right there in the store. Zylie handled it with so much grace and compassion. She never made me feel embarrassed or rushed. She stayed calm, grounded, and spoke to me gently, reassuring me that everything was going to be okay and that she was there to help me. She slowed the moment down when I couldn’t, and that alone meant more than words can explain. Without me asking, she went back inside and came out with water and snacks for both me and my daughter, and even brought out a battery tester to be extra thorough. She also noticed that my daughter was picking up on my stress and took the time to talk to her and distract her, helping calm her down when she needed it just as much as I did. Zylie was also incredibly knowledgeable. She clearly explained that the issue was my camshaft position sensor, and took the time to explain the difference between Bank 1 and Bank 2 in a way that was easy to understand. She went over part options—rebuilt, remanufactured, and brand new—along with warranties and pricing, never making me feel confused or pressured. What could have been a truly awful and traumatic experience for both me and my daughter went smoothly because of her. Even a week later, I’m still grateful for how she showed up for us—not just as an employee, but as a genuinely kind human being. Zylie helped me through a panic attack, helped me feel safe, and reminded me that compassion still exists in moments when you need it most. AutoZone is incredibly lucky to have her. I will never forget the care, patience, and humanity she showed me and my daughter that day.
