- BMB MitchellJan 2, 20261.0I went into Brakes Plus for an oil change. I normally take my car to Dodge for oil changes. I decided to take my car to brakes plus because of convience. I advised them that I didn't want anything else but an oil change. Immediately the person that was helping me said that I needed 6 qts of synthetic oil, and quoted me $103. I didn't get the service, I made an appointment with Dodge. I asked the service technician at Dodge what type of oil does my car take and I was told conventional oil, and that they have never put in synthetic oil. Also the car takes five and a half quarts of oil not six.. I feel like they were up charging me for no reason. They didn't ask me if I wanted synthetic oil, which cost more. Be careful things cost more and I guess they thought they met a person that loved to throw money out of the window. I will never use them for any service.

The shop is managed by Johnny, who is consistently knowledgeable, professional, and kind. He leads a team that reflects those same qualities. Most recently, during a very difficult time, I worked closely with James and Kasie, and they were incredibly supportive, compassionate, and efficient. They took care of my car right away and made an already stressful situation so much easier. Our cars are an integral part of our daily lives, and it feels really good to have a place—and people—I can trust to keep them running safely and reliably. Thanks, guys!
