Store manager did not understand the scenario - my friend today who was on a budget and obviously needed help with a car battery. We even walked up to the batteries too and he was on the phone with a customer and told us to bring the battery to him to test after we set it on the furthest unused counter. Store manager on phone and other peer with a customer And he was still on the phone then after waiting and then after telling us the prices and a little guidance from me to buy the $109 option for a year (there was some back and forth discussion about how long my friend even needed the battery and being low budget and my friend mentioning he was not going to have the car long ) we went along with the $80ish option the guy was still trying to sell us the $109 option. I told the manager that my friend only needed it to get by, being on a budget so we went with the cheapest option which he should of walked away to get it and my friend started talking to me about maybe $80-$109 and the manager stopped and was wondering if we wanted the $109 or not so we had to clarify but we had already decided on the cheapest option (not a big deal here but shows his level of hearing ). Then tried to upsale us the bundle thing with the battery and i interrupted at some point to not get it and said sorry like a normal person in a hurry who knew what they needed when they entered the store. Then the manager told me i was a bad influence and basically the responsibility when my friends car breaks down again will fall on me. I calmly accepted the terms and that was it. Please coach. We should not have to explain ourselves or be guilted into a upsale. We needed a car battery only. Oh and while telling us more about the warranty I thought he was actually going to give us some advice by asking if he had any power seats, sun roof, seat warmers etc. He tried to upsale the other option. I think it was pretty obvious my friend was broke. He was very observant on the type of influence I was but not the type of customer we were. He got what we he could afford and needed a ride. If I didn’t bring him, he would of stayed at work until hours later just trying to figure out how to get home. Can’t judge people you don’t know. Be kind or if it’s that important then include it in the price . I’ll go to a better establishment next time and take my other friends or who knows how many customers I could bring since it’s the closest to work and I am always willing to help anyone with a ride for a battery. Excellent Service from Manager Alex G! We stopped by AutoZone to buy a headlight bulb, but as we were leaving, our car wouldn’t start. Manager Alex G quickly came out to help and tested our battery — the diagnostics showed it was bad. He went above and beyond by helping us find the right replacement battery and even installed it for us on the spot. His professionalism, knowledge, and willingness to help turned a stressful situation into a great experience. Big thanks to Alex for the outstanding customer service!

Walked in and there was really loud music playing using profound language. The guy at the register walks off and pretends he did not see me standing there.I waited until he turned around and before I could even ask the question pertaining to the reason I was there, He cut me off saying they couldn't do that. As i'm leaving two guys come out the back, one is singing loud using profound language and the other is laughing loud. Very unprofessional and immature behavior. No customer service skills at all.
