- BCBranden CarnahanApr 19, 20261.0I am an ASE certified technician performing services on a vehicle that was recently serviced at this location. Please be aware: This location is staffed with high school-age teens, who are NOT certified to perform automotive diagnostics or repairs. The oil pan drain bolt was so over tightened (over 60 ft lbs when it is supposed to be 23) And NO crush gasket was installed. Of course, the oil filter was also over tightened, they are supposed to be hand tight. Tools had to be used to remove this filter, costing other people time and money This can cost a customer an engine. This is pure incompetence. Anytime an oil change is performed, the correct torque for the drain bolt should be followed, (so it doesn't destroy the customer's oil pan) and a new copper crush ring should *always* be used. There are no exceptions to this rule. If you care about your vehicle, do not take it to this place.
