Lies! I’m having it uninstalled. Was quoted $50 a week, and was billed $175 after two weeks.

I had a coupon for a free Device Protection Plan which was discussed prior to installation. The lease included the fee and I called to have it removed. I was told a supervisor would reissue the lease sans fee. Never happened. Will advise if they revise my lease.
Update:
So Dennis called me back and informed me the coupon was a misprint and it would not be honored. Lost a star.
Also, the device was improperly installed on 10/30/24 and I was not notified until 11/26/24. They reported their mistake to AZDOT and now I have to dispute with the state. Negative stars.

*****READ THIS BEFORE USING THIS COMPANY*****
One day after installation on my vehicle I recieved a pump failure on the unit and it had to be replaced. I called the phone number after 20 minutes of waiting I talk to a lady and tell her what's happening. She then transfers me to a "specialist" (another 20 minutes) who told me im sorry we sent you broken unit. She proceeded to tell me I had to pay for a tow truck to the place that installed it, Which is 35 miles away from where my vehicle was. I said to her are you kidding me you arent going to call a tow truck for me or don't have a person who can drive out here and fix it (they do). She says no. I say let me talk to your supervisor and immediately I get pushed to a supervisors voicemail. I leave a voicemail but also knew that I basically got nowhere after an hour in 115° (arizona) heat on the side of the road. I call back again wait forever again and the lady said to me we do have roadside service and we will send someone out and he will call you in an hour and a half to see where you are at. I was like what hold on atleast give me his number so I can call him. She says ok here it is and gives me the number of the place I got my breathalyzer put in! I have to call back again finally someone else answer says yes we have someone who will call you and I'll give you his number if you would like to call him. It took over 5 hours from the time I tried to start my vehicle to when it actually started. I was lied to and honestly put in danger because of this company.
Frequently Asked Questions About Intoxalock Ignition Interlock
How does an interlock device work?
An ignition interlock device (IID) is a small breathalyzer installed in your vehicle to prevent it from starting if alcohol is detected on your breath. Before driving, you'll blow into the device. If your breath alcohol concentration (BrAC) is below the programmed limit, the car starts. Periodic retests occur during your trip to ensure continued compliance. To read more on Intoxalock, you can read our ignition interlock device guide.
What is the cost of an ignition interlock device?
The installation of an ignition interlock device, often called a car breathalyzer, typically costs between $70 and $150. This one-time fee is paid at the start of your lease and covers the service center's labor to install the device in your vehicle. Payment is made directly to the service center at the time of installation. For more on cost breakdowns, you can read our cost of ignition interlock device guide.
How do I use my interlock device?
Using an IID is simple. To start your vehicle, blow into the device as directed. If the device detects no alcohol, your car will start. You may be prompted for "rolling retests" while driving, where you’ll blow into the device again to confirm compliance. How-to videos are also available on the Intoxalock mobile app.

What happens if I fail a breath test on my ignition interlock device?
If you fail a breath test, your vehicle will not start, and the device will log the event. Depending on your state’s regulations, multiple failed tests may trigger additional penalties, such as lockouts or reporting to your monitoring authority. Intoxalock devices allow you to retest after a short wait if alcohol is no longer detected. Always follow your state’s guidelines to remain compliant.
