  Second time I’ve been misinformed. Probably because they didn’t want to replace my battery under warranty. Will never go to this location again. Do not trust!

  This is what happened to me. I went there and asked if they can check to see if I have a warranty still on my front brake pads for my Nissan quest. The guy checked the computer and said yes I do. I told him that I have to get the brake pads first from them since I only have the Nissan quest to drive . The guy said pay for the brakes and then when you change them bring the old ones in and we will give you a refund. So I did and when I went back with the old brake pads they said that they couldn’t find the warranty for the brake pads for my quest. I told them that I just talked to them a couple of hours ago and they checked for the warranty for the quest and I had it. It was the same people I talked to earlier. I talked to the manager and the assistant manager and they said that the guy that told me that I had the warranty was wrong and he made a mistake. I told them, that is not my problem or my mistake. The only reason I paid for the brake pads was that they were going to give me a refund. The manager and the assistant manager said we know that the guy made the mistake and not me. They wanted me to go back and take the new brake pads off and return them for a refund. I told them that I had put them on and drove around to check the brakes. I should not have to pay for there mistake and that I was not going to take them off again just because they messed up. I even asked for half the price of the brake pads in store credit. The manager said that he knows any other business that the customer would get a refund and that the company would make it right for the customer. I buy stuff from this store all the time until now. This store on 67 avenue and Peoria has real bad management. If anybody asks me about this auto zone on 67 avenue and Peoria I will tell them to go somewhere else. I tried to tell management that it was not my fault that they looked it up and said I have do have warranty on the brakes. What a scam.
