I was driving to an appointment and suddenly, my passenger side windshield wiper fell out of the housing on the wiper arm. Obviously, I didn’t want to scrape the metal wiper arm across my windshield, but I also needed to be able to see where I was going. Fortunately for me, the rain was not too heavy at this point and I made it to my appointment safely. After the appointment, I found this AutoZone, located at 179 East Williams Field Road in Gilbert, Arizona, and stopped in to buy a replacement. I found it quickly and walked up to the register area. The employee was helping another customer, so I hung back to let them take care of their business. I noticed that the registers at the end were marked for self-service, so I walked over there. It wasn’t readily apparent that this register was actually intended for self-service since the computer monitor was facing behind the counter, and the barcode scanner was behind the register. The employee stepped away from the other customer for a couple seconds to scan my purchase. I paid for it just as another employee walked up and pulled the receipt from the register and handed it to me. Quick and easy; I was on my way. Thank you, AutoZone!
