They told me that they tried to put a new bulb in but it still didn’t work so they believed it was a wiring issue and that I needed to take it to the dealership. On my way to the dealership I noticed my right turn signal was blinking a lot faster than normal. The dealership inspected my car and said they were unsure what Jiffy Lube did because the service tech replaced the brake light bulb and it worked just fine, but the turn signal bulb was completely missing. When they replaced the turn signal bulb, it started glitching and would not work. I know the turn signal was working before I took it to Jiffy Lube because a friend was following me and had noticed my brake light was out but my turn signal was still working. I now have a more expensive issue because I took my car here. Update: What could have been a $20 repair is now costing me $200. I went in for a brake light bulb and I left with a missing turn signal bulb and a broken bulb socket. My turn signal was working just fine before I took it in to Jiffy Lube. I called the manager to explain the situation, he told me that they didn’t touch any other bulb and it was obviously a wiring issue like they said. I explained to him that the brake light worked when the dealership replaced the bulb (so it wasn’t a wiring issue) and that my turn signal light bulb was completely missing (it was working before). He said he was unsure what the dealership touched, and when I said I watched what they did, he said it’s “hear-say.” They also changed the review response from “I understand your frustration” to that 👇🏽
