We have had nothing but problems since we had the device installed over a year ago. The latest being my vehicle was taken in to be calibrated, and they had the equipment removed without authorization, then they lied and said the state authorized the removal. A new system had to be installed at acost to me of $336. Thanks Intoxalock! I have asked several times for the number to the Corporate Office, but have yet to get it. Corporate Office needs to be aware of how they are operating their business. I have spent over 12 hours on the phone or on hold, and have spoken to at least 22 different people in the last 4 days, and the level of customer service that I received was HORRIBLE! FYI: My time is just as important as theirs, and at this point I am seriously considering contacting my attorney and filing a law suit against Intoxalock forr shady business practises.

Frequently Asked Questions About Intoxalock Ignition Interlock

How does an interlock device work?

An ignition interlock device (IID) is a small breathalyzer installed in your vehicle to prevent it from starting if alcohol is detected on your breath. Before driving, you'll blow into the device. If your breath alcohol concentration (BrAC) is below the programmed limit, the car starts. Periodic retests occur during your trip to ensure continued compliance. What is the cost of an ignition interlock device?
