The boat ride was very pleasant, and the captain was a great tour guide, telling the passengers about some of the geology, wildlife, and history of the lake and views. If there's a hotel near the marina, I didn't see it. The marina itself has ample parking (but not enough handicapped spaces), restrooms, and a small shop that sells some food and sundry items (similar to what you'd find at a gas station store), and souvenirs, boating-related items, etc.
