Even tesla does not calibrate the camera when you buy it new, its just push a button and drive to relearn but they wouldnt do it or have a release waiver to sign. The manager said the company would not allow it period and refused to call his boss for me to try and see. I will never do business with this company again regardless of the vehicle. Update: I understand some vehicles require recalibration but on a tesla its as simple as pushing a button to clear the previous calibration then driving the vehicle to recalibrate the cameras, it doesnt require someone else to drive my vehicle for hours in traffic and risk an accident or other damage to my vehicle. I was fine with the recalibration I just am not okay with someone driving my vehicle for a couple hours to do something that I myself can do. When I bought the car new I had to do the calibration process on the road, tesla does not even do it. I tried to comply by allowing the tech to ride along while I drove but that was refused as well stating that I cannot be in my vehicle while someone joy rides for a couple hours.

Further, my dash cam was NOT recalibrated correctly and FELL OFF my windshield while I was driving almost causing an accident. I will NEVER be using Safelite again. No way will I be "scheduling a no-cost appointment to address the issues" why would I trust you incompetent people to touch my car again? I'm making another insurance claim, and using this interaction as proof, you guys can pay for someone else to do it.
