  We have been repeat customers at this location. No more. After completing the last oil change, we discovered that the oil filter o-ring had not been installed properly, causing most of the oil to drain almost immediately. Our distance from the location made it dangerous to return there. It was a fluke that we noticed the oil leak, at the start. I was able to purchase and replace 7 quarts of oil and a new filter before the vehicle was driven any further - a whole new oil change. Just to make it clear: the amount of oil pouring out of the vehicle could have burned up the engine. The car was not safe to drive. In the past, we have had an oil change performed just before leaving on a multi-day driving trip. If that had been the case last week, the vehicle would have been dead on the road. We documented the problem with photos and receipts, which were forwarded to the customer service department. This was, ostensibly, a clear-cut case of the service center's errors, and, as such, we expected a full refund, at the minimum. After several rounds with the location manager, Jesse, and the national customer service center, we have been offered a check for the the costs of filter and oil we purchased out of pocket, and a coupon for 50% off another oil change. No full refund, no free oil change, nothing. In addition, the manager pushed back hard and made the issue our fault. We should have come back in, etc - not feasible in a vehicle with a major oil leak. In our experience, the final decision on how major, costly mistakes are handled comes down to the location manager. In the case of this location, you will not receive any satisfaction. Our car still smells like smoking oil, thanks to the 5+ quarts scattered around the engine compartment, and reminds me on every drive that I am still waiting for that refund. Cannot recommend, will not return, will not use any Valvoline products or services in the future.

  Generally good service. I had my check engine light on after the oil change, but it looks like a temperature gauge thing or something. Had to call customer service. The store manager called and spoke with me, but by then I had figured out the issue since it was a couple of days later. Service was good, like usual, but just like the time before the change oil light was not reset after the oil was changed. I did get that fixed by lord google, and it was easy, just wish it had been done when the oil was changed.
