  I went into the gas station to purchase two energy drinks. The self check system scanned 6 instead of the two I got. I should have paid attention to the total, but did not have any reason to think it had scanned incorrectly. I immediately told the cashiers behind the desk that it had scanned wrong and I didn't notice before paying, showed them my receipt. They informed me that the new system did not allow for refunds and that I would just have to get four more energy drinks, which is insane to me. The cashiers were very polite and legitimately seemed like they were trying to find a way to process a refund, but could not. It is unimaginable to me that the store does not have a refund policy/ability for a mistake their machine made. It appears that Maverick themselves installed a system without properly training their staff. But, just know if the system overcharges you, you will be liable for that overcharge. So if it is in gas I hope you bring a tub to carry the excess in

  Very rude staff!! Instead of telling me my purchase went through, she shoved my phone away from the reader saying “it’s done! It’s through your done!” The card reader never changed or dinged, how was I supposed to know? There’s other ways of informing me without shoving my phone.. let’s try “you’re all set, have a nice day” next time🙄🙄

  This fashion is always clean and friendly but my favorite part is the FREE air for your tires. My tires always need air and I’m usually blocked by a broken system or a pay wall. I can always rely on this station to have a free working air station.
