Jamie the clerk greeted me and asked for my ID for my alcohol purchase as she did the people before me and after me. She was very polite and absolutely professional. While it was easy to make my purchase because of my obvious age she made the effort to card me as per law. I truly appreciated that effort. When I inquired if that was the norm she told me absolutely. She wasn't being snarky or untoward. She just stated the facts with a smile and when I presented my ID she scanned it and completed my purchase. I am in the bar industry and know how often this legality falls through the cracks.And to do it with a smile and being friendly was a bonus. Thank you for that. It was truly appreciated and I hope her superioirs recognize what a long a ways thats goes with people.
