Went to get gas. The pump kept me on a loop of select product and then it refused to pump. Insert it back and then select product again. I swear it wasn’t this bad when Kum and Go owned this.

Sign advertises $3.15 for diesel (2.80 with nitro card). Tried getting nitro for the 8th time, still didn’t work. Went to get some, but at the pump it was $3.32. We left.

I've always been wary of gas station food and especially these so called "fresh food markets" they advertise. Well Maverik has this Bonfire food lineup and I decided to try something healthy. I purchased their chicken bacon salad and it was great! I'll include a picture. The lettuce and all the other ingredients were fresh. To the lady working at the register on August 10th around 5pm, you did a great job making that salad and I will definitely buy again. 😋

Just waited 15 minutes in line with about 9 other people just to buy a drink. Tried to avoid the line by using the self check out but the workers had turned it off. They offered no other explanation. Nate behind the counter didn’t seem to have a clue what he was doing so he kept calling for Paul (who was busy moping while the lines stretched down the aisles). Paul would come help Nate with a transaction and then go back to moping for a couple minutes until Nate needed him again. It apparently never crossed Paul’s mind to open the second register to help Nate out. Moping was the only thing on Paul’s mind. A worker from a neighboring Maverick store happened to be one of the people in line and asked me why the self check out wasn’t even on. I told her I had no clue but to get comfortable as I had already been there nearly 15 minutes. She was surprised and wondered aloud why they only had one register going. One customer put his items away and walked out seeing what a fiasco this was and how long it was taking them ti check out each customer. I don’t blame the workers for having no clue what they’re doing. Obviously, the leadership at this store is seriously lacking. Teach and train the employees and if there’s 9 people in line: leave the moping until later.

Already reported to Kum & Go CR. Here to share with you my experience: ====v==== Today (June 30th 2019) I went to the Kum & Go (#0399) at W Pleasant Grove Rd and N Bloomington St to load Amazon Cash to my account. I entered your business and politely informed the cashier I wanted to do so. However the cashier who identified as Allen could not accept my request. Rather than understanding what the Amazon Cash program was, he quickly steered himself clear from listening to my explanation of how it worked. He then said Kum & Go only loaded Visa cards (some other programs I’m not aware of). He claimed he could not follow what I said, even scanning the barcode with the scanner, without first hearing it from the store manager, who was later identified as Joe. I asked him since I probably wouldn’t come back the next day, if he could write down the names and contact for me. In the mean time I was trying to search on Amazon’s website if the location #0399 was participating in the program. As he went back to write down the manager’s name (he seemed to forget), I found out the location was shown on Amazon’s webpage. If by then it wasn’t disturbing already, that the cashier lacked training, what happened after was incredible. I showed Allen the map, where it listed the store as Kum & Go at 978 W Pleasant Grove Rd, Lowell, AR 72745. The response from Allen was, word for word, “IT APPEARS TO BE OUR LOCATION” but as I asked if that was a YES or NO (what did he mean by “APPEARS”?), Allen got very impatient and said he could not do it at night, that I might be a scammer. Allen apparently also accused me of possibly manipulating the Amazon website map when I showed him the store location on the map. I was shocked!!! How could him possibly call me, a customer who so far did nothing but asking for a service, a scammer without proof! I might be causing a line behind me but I already turned back and apologized to those customers, while Allen was looking for the manager’s name. I tried to defuse the situation and showed my driver’s license to the cashier, and instead of receiving an apology or compromise from him, I got the same answer. He did say something like “of course I knew you are a decent man” but that was not an apology for the scammer accusation that came out of nowhere. If this is what Kum & Go employees were told to do when the manager was not in a store—2/3 of a day—it’s better I take my business somewhere else. ====^==== This place deserves a two-star, never tried the pumps but the store was smaller than other Kum & Gos. I would rate the cashier as zero. So you've got a 1.
