My system was installed incorrectly and I was constantly having problems with it. Found Mr Hoggard, he fixed it. No problems since.
The company, INTOXALOCK said the problem was my BRAND NEW TRUCK and I dealt with this issue for almost 2 years with lockout fees, hours of phone calls to their customer service in INDIA (that you cant understand) , hours on the side of the road with a malfunctioning machine and my BRAND NEW truck not working.
Mr Hoggard is AWESOME.
Intoxalock is a scam and should be shut down by EVERY STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL for fraud.
WORST company I've EVER dealt with.
Use ANYONE but Intoxalock!!

They are the absolute worst. Impossible to reach and terrible service. The agent Joesph Kriesel straight up lied to me and is now unreachable. I just opened the account and I am already -70$. I was not told about this fee and was promised 2 weeks credit and rebate on install. No one knows anything about it and reaching any customer service agent takes apx 30 minutes to an hour. Do not use this service!
Update: after posting this review I rec'd a message I would be contacted by a member of management to correct this issue- guess what? No one has called. After 6 days of intall(I payed the contractor for install) I have a new past due balance of $111. No credits or rebates applied and the folks who handle their customer service ( outsourced and no connection to the sales agent) still have no idea about the credits or rebates. They are also very difficult to reach. Do not use this service! Chose another device!!
Frequently Asked Questions About Intoxalock Ignition Interlock
How does an interlock device work?
An ignition interlock device (IID) is a small breathalyzer installed in your vehicle to prevent it from starting if alcohol is detected on your breath. Before driving, you'll blow into the device. If your breath alcohol concentration (BrAC) is below the programmed limit, the car starts. Periodic retests occur during your trip to ensure continued compliance. To read more on Intoxalock, you can read our ignition interlock device guide.
What is the cost of an ignition interlock device?
The installation of an ignition interlock device, often called a car breathalyzer, typically costs between $70 and $150. This one-time fee is paid at the start of your lease and covers the service center's labor to install the device in your vehicle. Payment is made directly to the service center at the time of installation. For more on cost breakdowns, you can read our cost of ignition interlock device guide.
How do I use my interlock device?
Using an IID is simple. To start your vehicle, blow into the device as directed. If the device detects no alcohol, your car will start. You may be prompted for "rolling retests" while driving, where you’ll blow into the device again to confirm compliance. How-to videos are also available on the Intoxalock mobile app.
